We started a new tradition this year,instead of doing a chocolate each day in our advent calendar we are doing an activity-sometimes there will be treats involved:) So far we've watched Christmas movies,donated toys,made hot cocoa,Christmas ornaments,gone to a parade,checked out Christmas books from the library,written letters to Santa and made a gingerbread house(the last 2 are pictured below) This has been a lot of fun,but next year I will plan a little further in advance and be better organized.

I just love this idea! I'm definitely going to plan to do it next year too. Maybe we can put our heads together to come up with some fun ideas!! :)
