Winter is for the birds.

I saw this idea on the Crafty Crow,I think. Easy peasy bird feeder...just some wheat bread covered in peanut butter and rolled in bird seed. We placed ours on a plate in the yard and made some binoculars from recycled TP rolls,then we waited..and waited...and waited. Never saw a single bird take a nibble. They were flying around though,we saw some Cardinals and Jays-Peyton was yelling "C'mon biiiiirdies!!!!!" and pounding on the window. We did see quite a few squirrels run up and grab some bread to drag up to their nest in the tree. This morning most of it was gone,but there we many tracks in the snow around the plate!
